NFNV Nigeria hosts maiden Pan-African Women EXPO in October

The Nigeria chapter of New Faces New Voices (NFNV) is set to host its first-ever Pan-African Women EXPO scheduled for 8th to 22nd October, 2018 in Abuja, Nigeria; the expo which promises investment, networking, trade promotion opportunities and viable exchange of products and services will be attended by not less than 1000 participants from across 18 African countries.

NFNV is a pan-African NGO founded by Graça Machel, the widow of the Late Nelson Mandela, which supports women across the continent in the area of access to finance as well as creating enabling environment for them to do business. NFNV believes women have the potential to deliver a significant contribution to economic growth in Africa.

“The 1st Pan-African Women EXPO organised by New Faces New Voices-NIGERIA is coming up between 8th and 22nd of October 2018 in Abuja, Nigeria. We are expecting participants and visitors from all the 18 NFNV chapters across Africa; we are expecting nothing less than 1000 participants which is exclusive of visitors,” said Aishatu Debola Aminu, country director of NFNV Nigeria, in a pre-expo interview.

“The expo will also feature two side events: a capacity building training on formalization of NFNV Nigeria’s Women Cross Border Trade project as well as the African Women CEOs Roundtable which will be attended by 50 African women entrepreneurs. The EXPO promises investment opportunities, networking, trade promotion and viable exchange of products and services,” she added.
