African Newspage Masterclass on Climate Solutions Reporting
The Two-day Masterclass for Nigerian Journalists on Climate Solutions Reporting, under the aegis of the African Newspage Journalism Masterclass Series, exposed the participants to the climate change phenomenon and the various dimensions of the climate crisis, as well as solution-oriented reporting of innovative and data-driven climate preparedness and mitigation measures. The masterclass contributes to addressing the dearth of knowledge and understanding of climate change in the media and empowers journalists to raise awareness and spotlight innovative best practices, policies, and interventions that build preparedness and resilience in communities against climate emergencies.
