This new global Youth Ecopreneurs Programme (YECO) 2024 focuses on sustainable land management and green business solutions, offering an scaled up version of last year’s successful Youth Ecopreneur Awards at World Export Development Forum (WEDF) 2023 in Mongolia.

Ye! Youth Ecopreneurs Programme (YECO) 2024, a transformative journey hosted by the International Trade Centre and the G20 Global Land Initiative. YECO 2024 is designed for visionary young entrepreneurs who are committed to pioneering sustainable solutions for our planet.

The YECO Programme aims to support and nurture the next generation of green entrepreneurs by providing access to essential resources, mentorship, seed capital, and networking opportunities. Participants will embark on a transformative journey, including a Global Bootcamp, an Accelerator, and culminating in the celebrated Youth Ecopreneur Awards. Each phase is carefully designed to advance the most promising ecopreneurs, propelling them towards global recognition and impact.

To be eligible, entrepreneurs must be under 35 years old and promote sustainability, land restoration, circularity, and/or the green economy. The business must be primarily run by a young person.

Benefits of the programme include:

•                    Capacity-building for scaling the venture

•                    Seed Funding ($100,000 USD for the land-restoration cohort, equity-free)

•                    Legal and IP Guidance by WIPO and Sidley Austin

•                    Preferential access to Pro-Bono legal services from Sidley Austin

•                    Preferential access to the Google StartUp for Sustainable Development Programme

•                    All-expenses-paid trip to International Conference for Awards finalists

•                    Cash prize when winning the Youth Ecopreneur Awards – $10,000 USD prize (1 Award per category)
