Gambian migrants return home from Libya

Gambia's new foreign minister has called for its illegal migrants in Europe to come back home, saying there is no need to flee anymore with Yahya Jammeh, former president, having left power.

Gambia‘s new foreign minister has called for its illegal migrants in Europe to come back home, saying there is no need to flee anymore with Yahya Jammeh, former president, having left power.

The International Organisation for Migration has started repatriating Gambian migrants stuck in Libya back to their home country.

Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reports from the capital Banjul.
